Photos from the morning itself — 26 September, Andheri.
Most people never try the things they’re curious about, because the first step is the awkward one. You don’t know the etiquette, you don’t know anyone there, and you don’t want to be the worst person in the room.
This is that first step, handled. A small group, the best coaches in the city, and a morning built so you get an honest go at both. You leave knowing what bouldering and parkour actually feel like in your own body — not what they look like on a screen.
Climbing without ropes, close to the ground, on padded floors. You’ll learn how to use your feet instead of hauling with your arms, read a route before you touch it, and fall safely — then get up a problem of your own.
Moving through a space instead of around it. You’ll start with landings and rolls, because that’s the part that keeps your knees intact, then build to a safety vault and a precision jump you can actually stick.
The morning is run by the people who built the place — not a stand-in filling a Saturday slot.
Co-founder & Head Coach · Mumbai’s leading movement academy
One of the people who brought parkour to Mumbai in the first place. Rishi co-founded Mumbai Parkour and then the Movement Academy, and he came to it from medicine — which is why the teaching starts with how a body actually loads, lands and absorbs force rather than with the impressive-looking stuff.
He built the academy’s movement-science curriculum and its equipment. In practice that means the progressions you’ll be put through on Saturday are the same ones used with complete beginners, kids, corporate groups and Indian Army personnel — scaled to whoever is standing in front of him.
One combined session, coached end to end. Get there by 7:50 — we start at 8:00 sharp, because the coaches are on the clock.
Ten minutes to find the place, drop your things and say hello, so the session itself starts on time.
You meet the group and the coaches, and everyone says why they signed up. The coaches take stock of what people have done before and pitch the morning accordingly.
Footwork, grip, how to read a wall, how to come off one safely. Then supervised attempts on real problems, scaled to where you actually are.
Landing mechanics first, then the vault and the precision jump. By the end you string a short line together while someone films it.
We close together and talk about what surprised you. In our experience this is where the actual value shows up — and where people work out what they want to go deeper on.
No equipment rental on the side, no surprise add-ons at the door.
The same people we run our multi-week cohorts with — not a generalist instructor covering two things they half know.
We read every signup and put the morning together deliberately. Who you do this next to is half of why it works.
Photos, clips, and a group reel at the end. A videographer is there for the whole session — you’ll have something to show for it.
Mats, holds, equipment — it’s all there. Turn up in clothes you can move in and that’s the whole requirement.
The bootcamp is a morning. Our cohorts are four to five weekends on one discipline — enough to take you from zero to genuinely competent, ending in a filmed test.
We have cohorts running right now in rifle shooting, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and parkour. You don’t have to decide anything on Saturday. Come do the morning first.
No. The morning is built to work whether you’re starting from scratch or you’ve done a bit before — the coaches read the room and scale the progressions to the people in front of them. Nobody gets left behind and nobody sits around bored.
Comfortable clothes you can move and sweat in, and trainers with a flat sole. Bring a water bottle. Skip jewellery and anything in your pockets. Everything else — mats, holds, equipment — is there.
Reasonably mobile is enough. You do not need upper-body strength for bouldering — the first thing you’ll be taught is that pulling with your arms is the beginner mistake. If you have a specific injury or concern, message us before you pay and we’ll tell you honestly whether to come.
We share the exact location with confirmed participants 24 hours before. It’s in Andheri (W) and reachable by road and rail without difficulty.
Pay ₹3,500 in one go instead of ₹2,000 each, then fill the booking form once for each of you and upload the same payment screenshot to both. That way we have both sets of details and we know to keep you together on the day.
Payment details are inside the booking form, and you’ll upload a screenshot of the payment as part of it. Spots are first paid, first confirmed — the form is the only queue, and we close it at 15.
Tell us as early as you can and we’ll try to move you to the next bootcamp. We hold the coaches and the videographer on a fixed cost for the morning, so last-minute cancellations are hard to refund — but talk to us rather than just not turning up.
Yes — a videographer is there for the session, and you’ll get the photos and clips afterwards. We also use some of it for Just Curious. If you’d rather not appear in anything public, tell us on the day and we’ll keep you out of it.
If you make content around movement, fitness, or generally doing hard things on camera — we’d rather have you in the room than advertise at you. We’ll sponsor your spot.
Our videographer is there for the whole session, so you leave with proper photos and a cut reel of yourself actually doing it — the kind of footage that’s a pain to get on your own. Say whatever you genuinely thought afterwards. We’re not going to script you.
Send us your profile →All 15 spots went. Two more bootcamps are open on Saturday 10 October — parkour in Breach Candy, rifle shooting in Prabhadevi. Or tell us what you’d actually show up for and we’ll build it.
